The Whitcomb FFA Wool Judging team consists of high school: Tana Timberman and Caden Cantu, and the Jr. High Team consisting of Sophia Swaney, Quinn Ruonavaara, Jentri Waldrop and Ava Cantu competed in the state contest on Jan. 14.
Our jr. high team took first place and won the state contest. Sophie Swaney was the high individual.
For the high school team, Tana Timberman took third place in reasons and fifth place for the contest!
The Wool Judging team will hopefully be headed to the Black Hills Stock Show Wool Judging contest in February. Our coach Payton Timberman took the long drive from Center of The Nation Wool twice a week to coach.
