During the Moorcroft Council meeting on Wednesday, January 8, some of the topics discussed included light poles, landfill fees, the splash pad and water line repairs.
Councilman Dale Peterson and councilwoman Heidi Humpal read the oath for their new term.
The light pole topic had a guest speaker from PRE-CORP to discuss the decision to switch the light poles to LED lights bulbs. This change will occur during the spring or if a pole needs to be re-paired before then.
Landfill fees for mobile homes were discussed and is now a set fee of $2500 per trailer. All other landfill fees are still the same.
The splash pad and Powder River Water phase II are both still on track for spring construction. However, the North Little Horn project is still waiting for documentation from the state.
