A memorial Texas Hold’em tournament is being held on Saturday, February 8, at the Pine Haven Community Center. Half of the buy-in will go to the Pine Haven fire department to purchase new gear and oxygen tanks.
The memorial tournament is held in honor of Coach Carl Mirich, who was an avid poker player and community member in Pine Haven. Coach Mirich was a former football coach for Moorcroft.
Along with the tournament there will be a silent auction and drinks provided by R place. Pine Haven Mayor Karla Brandenburg stated, “We had 53 players last year…we hope to add more tables this year.”
