Nov. 25-Dec. 1

On Nov. 25, officers responded to a business for a request to trespass an individual. The individual had threatened the staff on multiple occasions and demanded property from them. Officers are currently investigating the incident.

On Nov. 26, a call was received at the police station reporting that an individual was leaving a store and appeared to be highly intoxicated. The officer went to find the vehicle mentioned in the report but received another call stating that the individual had returned to the store. The officer then located the individual as they were leaving the business. After speaking with the person and conducting sobriety tests, the officer issued a citation for DUI and placed the individual in custody. Nothing further at this time.

On Nov. 26, an officer was dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle circling a business. The officer found the vehicle at a gas station and spoke with the driver, who explained they were just deciding where to eat. The driver recognized that their actions might seem suspicious and could make the staff uncomfortable. Nothing further to report.

On Nov. 29, an officer found a blue Motorola smartphone and took the phone to the police station for safekeeping. Nothing further.

On Nov. 30, an officer issued a 30-day notice for a junk ordinance violation. Nothing further to report at this time.

On Dec. 1, officers received a call from dispatch regarding an individual who wanted to report their ex-spouse for harassment. The individual came to the office to file the report and show the officer the messages they had received. The officer took the report and is currently investigating the claim. Nothing further at this time.
