We have many exciting things happening at the library in December!
Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. there will be a Service of Remembrance at the MTC with dinner included. Attendees are encouraged to bring an ornament in memory of their loved one(s) to be placed on the Memory Tree.
The Memory Tree will be moved to the Moorcroft Branch Library on Dec. 2 to be displayed through the month. If you are unable to attend the event on Dec. 1, please feel free to bring an ornament to the library to be added to the Memory Tree.
Ugly Sweater Craft for all ages will be on Fri., Dec. 6. Drop in anytime 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your own sweater or other item to decorate. There is a small fee for this class to cover supplies.
We will have all sorts of items available including garland, ribbon, greenery, etc. We are also accepting donations of holiday items you may otherwise discard.
The Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce Parade of Lights is Sun., Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m. Get your parking spot on Main Street and then come warm up at the library! We will have Storytime and cookie decorating beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Stop in any time prior to the parade. Make sure you stop by the Mousse Lodge for the hot cocoa bar and visit Santa at West Texas Trail Museum following the parade.
Teens and adults are invited to join us for Reindeer Games on Mon., Dec. 9. We will serve dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. Minute to Win It Style games will begin at 7 p.m.
Anyone 7th grade and older is welcome to join us. Wear your ugliest sweater for the chance to win a prize!
Printwagon Paints will return on Dec. 12 for another adult paint class! There are a few spots left to paint a group of winter-ready snow owls. Call to reserve your spot today (307) 756-3232.
The Moorcroft Friends of the Library Holiday Silent Auction is open until 5 p.m. on Dec. 13! You can view all items on our Facebook page or by visiting the library. Bids can be placed in person or feel free to call the library to place a bid by phone (307) 756-3232.
