Moorcroft Police

On Nov. 18, officers were dispatched to a residence for a welfare check. They were not able to contact the individual. Officers visited with a friend and said that the individual was upset that the cops were called and that they would not be opening the door. The friend assured officers that they were okay. Nothing further.

On Nov. 18, an individual came to the police department with keys they found. The officer recognized them as post office keys and turned them into the post office. Nothing further.

On Nov. 18, officers received a call from Wyohelp regarding an individual who needed assistance from the emergency fund. The officers were able to assist the individual. Nothing further.

On Nov. 19, officers received a call from an individual who wanted to report that they had been scammed out of money. The individual explained that they had received a call from someone they believed was their phone provider and was requesting account information. The individual later discovered that the scammer had used the information they provided to transfer money from their account. Officers assisted the individual in filing a report. Nothing further to report at this time.

On Nov. 19, officers assisted the Crook County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic.

On Nov. 20, Town Hall received a call from an elderly individual who needed help getting down their stairs to make it to an appointment. Officers were able to assist the individual down the stairs. Nothing further.

On Nov. 20, officers assisted DFS with supervised UA. Nothing further.

On Nov. 22, an officer received a request to unlock a vehicle. The officer was available to assist the individual with the unlock. Nothing further.

On Nov. 22 officers assisted DFS with supervised UA. Nothing further.
