Oct. 28-Nov. 3

On Oct. 28, an officer performed a vehicle unlock and successfully gained entry into the vehicle. Nothing further.

On Oct. 30, officers responded to a report of an assault at a residence. The incident began when the homeowner asked an individual to leave, which led to an argument and a struggle. Officers interviewed all those involved. Nothing further to report at this time.

On Oct. 30, an officer was advised that a juvenile had an electronic vaping device. The individual was cited. Nothing further.

On Oct. 31, all police department members assisted other agencies in apprehending an individual with a federal warrant. Nothing further.

On Nov. 3, an officer responded to a residence after a call was placed to 911 of a child not listening to a parent. Upon arrival, the officer learned that the caller had since called 911 to report the child was now listening. The caller was informed that using 911 for non-emergency is illegal and received a citation. No further action was taken.

Nov. 4-10

On Nov. 5, an officer was sent to a residence regarding a domestic disturbance. The officer spoke with both individuals involved, and it was agreed they would go their separate ways. On the 6th Officers returned to take photos of potential bruises from the disagreement and advised the individual to call if they returned. Nothing further at this time.

On Nov. 5, officers are investigating a report of sexual assault. No further details are available.

On Nov. 7, during their patrol, officers noticed what appeared to be the scene of a possible traffic crash. They observed pieces of a camper scattered along the road and began their investigation. By using camera footage, the officers were able to identify the individual involved. Nothing further.

On Nov. 8, officers assisted another police agency in notifying an individual about a death. Nothing further.

On Nov. 10, an officer responded to a report of a possible fire at the MTC. The officer assisted the Fire Department in gaining entry to the building and checking the rooms to ensure there was no fire. Nothing further at this time.

On Nov. 10, officers went to a house to check on a person after a friend raised concerns. The friend could not reach the individual by phone and said they did not answer the door. When officers entered the home, they found an unattended death.

On Nov. 10, an officer went to check a report about a suspicious trailer left near a house. After looking up the trailer’s license plate, the officer found out it belonged to a resident they knew. The officer then called the owner, who explained they had dropped off the trailer for someone to borrow. Not everyone in the household was aware, leading to a misunderstanding. Nothing further.
