On Oct. 24, an officer was called from home to respond to an alarm at a business. Upon arrival, the officer began checking the perimeter and all the doors. As the officer approached the back door, they noticed it was wide open. The officer entered the business to ensure that no one was inside. After a thorough search, the officer confirmed that no one was present. The officer then secured the location and contacted the manager of the establishment. Nothing further.
On Oct. 24, an officer was dispatched to do a welfare check on an individual. The officer arrived at the residence to check on the individual, but no one answered. As the officer was leaving, they noticed the door of the garage was open. The office saw the individual inside and proceeded to visit with them and make sure they were doing ok. The individual stated that they were ok and did not need assistance. Nothing further.
On Oct. 25, officers assisted other agencies with an investigation. Nothing further at this time.
On Oct. 27, an officer was dispatched to a business regarding an assault that had occurred. Upon arrival, witnesses directed the officer to the individual who had been assaulted. After speaking with this person, it was apparent that they were injured and heavily intoxicated. The individual was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The officer is currently investigating the incident. Nothing further at this time.
