Injuries make for tough homecoming game

It was a tough loss on Friday. As a coach I always want my guys to get a win, especially during the Homecoming game.

They gave it their all and left everything out on the field, which is what the seniors needed for their last Homecoming/home game.

We have battled adversity continuously throughout the season... especially with injuries. We were missing six guys on Friday and four of them are starters.

It's great that I have a good group of freshman and sophomores to step up and fill spots that were needed. We are looking to rally back with a great week of practice and end the season on high note.

Final score for the game was Moorcroft 0, Wheatland 42.
