Sept. 9-15

On Sept. 9, an officer responded to a citizen’s call reporting that two dogs were running loose. The caller knew the owner of the dogs. The officer contacted the owner to inform them that their dogs were loose and that the front door to their home was open. The owner followed the officer to their residence to secure their dogs. Since the owner had a previous incident involving a loose dog, the officer issued citations for both dogs. Nothing further.

On Sept. 10, an officer responded to a report of an unattended death. Nothing further.

On Sept. 11, an officer responded to a call for a man experiencing a seizure. The officer helped Moorcroft EMS load the individual. Nothing further.

On Sept. 11, officers responded to an individual who found a suspicious note in their grill. The officer did not find anything suspicious. Nothing further.

On Sept. 10, police responded to a call from a residence about a skunk. The officer went to the residence and attempted to locate the skunk but was unsuccessful. The officer then contacted Game and Fish to see if there was anything they could do. Game and Fish informed the officer that the resident would have to call an exterminator to get rid of the skunk. Nothing Further.

On Sept. 13, authorities responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute. The officer visited one of the individuals at the house and was informed that the other individual was simply intoxicated and loud. The intoxicated individual went inside for the night, and the officers cleared the scene. Nothing further.

On Sept. 14, an officer was dispatched to a business to investigate a claim that the individuals working were intoxicated. The officer did not see any signs of intoxication. No further action was taken.

On Sept. 14, officers were asked to assist the sheriff’s office in locating an individual who had reported being in Moorcroft. The officer successfully located the individual. Nothing further.
