Volleyball team heading in the right direction

Moorcroft’s volleyball team played Buffalo (3A), RC Stevens (4A), Natrona County (4A), Cheyenne Central (4A) and Burns (3A) this weekend. We took Buffalo to three games, but came up short in the third set 15-10.

RC Stevens was tough, but we served really well and had quite a few big blocks. Natrona County beat us in two, but we scored 22 points on them in the first set.

We lost to Cheyenne Central, but our defense was strong and we beat Burns in two, 27-25 & 25-13. 

The girls played really well as a team and made some huge improvements from last weekend. Coach Gill and I are happy with the direction the team is headed and are looking forward to a successful season with a good group of girls.
