NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SEPARATE SEALED BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING OF:

TOWN OF MOORCROFT – POWDER RIVER WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT – PHASE II

PROJECT NUMBER 10135590

GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS:

Installation of replacement water main including approximately 1,800 LF of 6” and 8” PVC water main, and associated fittings, appurtenances and service lines; the removal and replacement of pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and sidewalks affected by the project. The project area includes Powder River Avenue from Campbell Street to Railroad Avenue, Railroad Avenue from Powder River Avenue to Cheyenne Avenue, and a bore crossing at Powder River Avenue going across Converse Street.

BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY THE TOWN OF MOORCROFT, WYOMING, AT TOWN HALL, 104 NORTH BIG HORN AVENUE, MOORCROFT, WYOMING 82721, UNTIL THE FOLLOWING TIME AND DATE, AND THEN PUBLICLY OPENED AND READ ALOUD:

COPIES OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS MAY BE OBTAINED AT http://www.hdrinc.com/WYbids UPON PAYMENT OF A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $20.00. PAPER COPIES ARE ALSO AVILABLE AT THE OFFICE OF HDR ENGINERING UPON PAYMENT OF A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $150.00. NO PARTIAL SETS OF SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS WILL BE ISSUED. REVISED DRAWINGS WILL BE ISSUED TO PLANHOLDERS AS NECESSARY BY ADDENDA.

A PRE-BID MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR 3:00 PM ON AUGUST 14, 2024 AT THE TOWN OF MOORCROFT TOWN HALL. BIDDERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE IN THE CONFERENCE.

Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Bidders that use subcontractor(s)/suppliers(s) are required to make a good faith effort at soliciting DBE subcontractor/supplier participation. Bidders shall submit the required DBE Good Faith Effort Documentation form and other related forms with their bids. Bidders are also required to follow the Buy American/Use of American Iron and Steel included in the Contract Documents.

Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, “preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles by the competitors outside of the state”.

A Bid Bond shall be the only acceptable form of Bid security and shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. At time of executing the Contract Documents the Contractor shall provide Contract security (Performance and Payment Bonds) in accordance with the General Conditions and W.S. 15-1-113 and 16-6-112.

The Town of Moorcroft reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
