What's happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

Movie Day! Friday, August 2, at 1 p.m., we welcome all ages to join us for Bridge to Terabithia.

We will serve popcorn and water. Feel free to bring other snacks and drinks.

Our free Kid’s Paint Class returns August 16. Youth, ages eight and up are invited to come paint with Miss Lacey. Reservations are required and space is limited so please call to reserve your spot. Classes will continue one Friday each month through May. 

Join us for our Back to School Foam and Water Party! Monday, August 19, we will meet at Robinson Park at 1 p.m. We will have our foam machine set up along with water activities so dress to get wet!

We have added lots of new items this past week that are NOT books! Stop in and check our Giant Jenga set for your next gathering. We have also added four new activity kits for our young patrons.

We received a large donation of audio books that Shannon has been working on to get added for our patrons. There are several ready for checkout by authors such as JD Robb, Sandra Brown, Mary Kay Andrews, Jason Cronin and many more.

New Activity Kits

Math Magician Kit - Includes two books, wood shape sorter and colorful animal sorting set designed to introduce your toddler/preschooler to basic math skills in a fun way.

Construction Kit - Includes two books, a matching game and a 60 piece building set for hours of fun!

Farm Kit - Includes two books, Farminoes game and a Red Barn full of accessories for the young agriculture lover.

Knitting and Crochet Kit - Includes everything needed to learn basic skills and create fun projects to keep! We will regularly restock the yarn in this kit (yarn donations welcome)
