The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming

What's happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

Summer has been flying by and we aren’t ready for it to be over, but we are beginning to plan our fall programming at the library.  We would love the community to let us know what YOU want to see happening at the library.  Stop in, give us a call or send an email to [email protected] to share your ideas.

We also welcome guest ‘teachers’, if you are willing to share your knowledge with others. We are looking for programs for adults and children of all ages.

Some topics that may interest our patrons include sewing, jewelry making, cooking with an Insta-Pot, crocheting/knitting, cross stitch, quilting and fly tying.  Are you a history buff, an avid hunter or fisherman, love geocaching, a world traveler, etc.?  We would love to have you share your passion with our patrons!

The art of baking homemade sourdough items is very popular right now. We are looking for someone willing to share their knowledge and teach beginners how to make sourdough at home. Please call us or email [email protected] if you are interested.

We are planning a movie day on Friday, August 2, at 1 p.m. and all ages are welcome to join us for Bridge to Terabithia. We will serve popcorn and water; feel free to bring other snacks and drinks.  Read the book first!  We have Bridge to Terabithia, by Katherine Paterson available in our juvenile section.

Stop in or call (307) 756-3232 for more information or to make reservations for upcoming events. For a full schedule, stop in for a calendar, visit us on Facebook or at https://www.crookcountylibrary.org/moorcroft-branch.html.  Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
