Erica Rose (Charlson) Silcox passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 22, from melanoma, surrounded by family. She was born on June 10, 2002 to Michael and Shaunte Charlson. She was the second of nine children.
After graduating from high school, she moved from Moorcroft, Wyoming, to Sheridan, Wyoming. She married Cameron Silcox in June 2023.
Although this marriage was short, Cameron was a constant source of support and strength as she was diagnosed with melanoma in 2023.
She was a strong individual who always had a positive attitude despite all the hardships she had from this aggressive cancer. She had a strong faith and belief that God had a perfect plan for her and He would take care.
Erica enjoyed being around her family and friends, being outdoors, camping and anything with children. Her love for Cameron was unending and she was appreciative of everything Cameron and his family did for her. She was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Cameron; parents, Michael and Shaunte; siblings, Kirk (Shalyse) of Moorcroft, Megan (Wyatt) of North Carolina, Shawna, Jackie, Lindsey, Janel, Kit, Joani, all of Moorcroft; her in-laws, Jeremiah and Amy Clearwater and Kaylene Silcox; Cameron's siblings, Blake (Makayla) of Sheridan and Jace; her maternal grandparents; her paternal grandmother and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather.
