Kendall Claar

Graveside rites for Kendall Claar will be at 3:30 p.m. on July 13, 2024 at the Moorcroft Cemetery. Pastor Monte Reichenberg will preside over the short service.

Kendall passed away on October 29, 2023 in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was cremated and asked to be buried with his mother, Evelyn Claar.

Kendall moved to South Carolina in 1988 and became a very accomplished carpenter. He loved to show visitors his beaches.

He spent much of his time with many friends and his special lady, Lisa Brown Young. He loved his dogs Dudley, Scarlet and Ashley. He enjoyed animals.

He was visited by his brother, Dick Claar and his family a few times. He loved showing them his home town. Kendall was very kind to stand by Johnnie Faye after Dick's passing.

Kendall was born June 9, 1955 to Gene and Evelyn Claar. He has been preceded in death by his three brothers, Dick Claar, Mike Claar and Charles Claar; his parents and grandparents.
