The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming

What's Happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

Our Friends of the Library had a successful Crook County Junkin’ with lots of extra traffic at the library for the Book Sale, Bake Sale and Pulled Pork Lunch. All proceeds from the sales will be used for the benefit of the library patrons and our community.

The Friends of the Library recently purchased a new shelf for our Youth Services area. The new shelf is displaying the activity and STEM kits available for checkout, making the kits more visible to the children as they were previously housed on top of the bookshelves. We have already noticed an increase in the number of kits being checked out.

Our most popular kit is the Dinosaur Set. Our most recent addition is our Art Kit, which includes a Huion L4S LED Light Pad, perfect for the enthusiastic amateur or professional artist.

The Mills Family have attended Storytime for around 20 years and have been advocates for the library and have recently gifted our Youth Services with a fluffy new rug and easel. The red rug brightens up the space and will be a soft place for patrons to spread out during Storytime; we have already had many youths utilizing the rug to lay down and read a book. The easel is multifunctional and will serve many purposes during Storytime and Afterschool programs.
