On March 11, while on patrol an officer was waved down by a pedestrian walking their dog who stated that their dog was attacked by another dog while out on their walk. Officer took the information from the complainant and went to speak with the owner of the dog. Officer advised the owner of the complaint and informed them to license their animal if living within town limits.
On March 12, police received a report of a truck blocking the entrance to Subway. Officer located the vehicle and spoke with the driver who advised that the truck had broken down and would be moved as soon as possible. A short time later the vehicle was gone.
On March 12, while conducting a traffic stop for expired registration, driver was found to have an active warrant out of Campbell County. Officer cited the driver for expired registration and transported them to Crook County Detention Center without incident.
On March 12, police were notified of an unattended death. Officer stayed on scene until the arrival of the Coroner.
On March 13, police were contacted regarding a homeless man breaking into a church. Officer contacted the suspect at Coffee Cup and he stated that he spent the night in the church. He also advised the officer that while in the building he ate and drank food that was in the kitchen. Officer arrested the Suspect for Criminal Trespass and transported him to Crook County Detention Center without incident.
On March 13, police were notified of a traffic crash that occurred in the parking lot of the high school. Officer took report of the incident.
On March 16, officer heard a REDDI report and later observed a vehicle matching the description driving on Converse Street. Officer followed the vehicle and advised WHP of the location. WHP Trooper intercepted the vehicle at mile marker 141 on I-90 and Officer remained on scene until a second WHP Troopers arrival. Nothing further.
On March 16, police assisted Moorcroft Ambulance Service on an emergency call.

Citations: four speeding. No driver’s license. No insurance. Three no registration. Three expired registration.
