Season ends at Regionals

The basketball season ended at Regionals for the boys’ team. Coach Nick Redden commends his team for the improvement they showed as the season progressed.

“Any time a season ends abruptly, like it did at Regionals, you miss it. We had a season where you could take all 13 guys and compare them from the first game to the last game and see improvement that is rarely seen,” he says.

“I had four amazing seniors and nine other guys who stepped up every day. You never had a practice when you had to ask them to work harder because that was just the level they played at.”

Redden looks forward to continuing the forward progress next year.

“In Moorcroft, we’re trying to build things back up. I’ve had groups of guys for the last two years who have set a tone and definitely left their mark for our younger kids to see and want to be like,” he says.

“Moorcroft is steadily moving up and we’ll be competitive every year. Are we in the perfect spot right now? No. Are we always competitive? Always.”
