Katherin Dunlap

Katherin Dunlap passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Primrose Retirement Community in Gillette, Wyoming. She was 94 years old.

Kathie was born Katherin Virginia Sehn to Fred and Rose (Oliver) Sehn in Moorcroft, Wyoming, on June 25, 1929. She was the oldest of three children. Katerin attended school in Moorcroft and graduated in 1948. She attended college in Spearfish, South Dakota, earning her degree there.

Katherin met and married Larry Dunlap in July of 1952. They resided in Casper, Wyoming, where she worked 32 years at Kelly Walsh High School as an assistant to the principal. After her retirement she volunteered at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

She was active in Easter Star and the Red Hat Society. Katherin and Larry spent time at the family cabin in Story, Wyoming and winters in Mesa, Arizona. They were married 50 years.

After Larry's passing in July of 2002, Katherin mostly resided in Casper until marrying Melvin Dallman in 2009. They lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and Casper until his sudden passing in 2015. Katerin then moved to Moorcroft to be closer to her remaining family in 2017.

Katherin is survived by her nephews, Clint (Shannon) Reynolds, Moorcroft, Alfred (Florence) Reynolds, Oshoto, Wyoming; niece, Becky Wood, Duncan, Oklahoma; stepson, Rusty (Vicki) Dallman, Casper. Katherin was preceded in death by both husbands; parents, Fred and Rose Sehn; brother, Joe Sehn in 1956 and sister Aberta Reynolds in 2023.
