The Spelling Bee was a huge success! Out of 56 classroom spellers, 50 showed up to wow the audience with their spelling prowess. The first to third grade classes went through 19 rounds to get to their top three winners:
First place - Romel DeCent, second place - Matthew Johnson, third place - Ivalee Smith.
The fourth-sixth grade classes went through 18 rounds to get to our overall top three winners: first - Elaina Zurbuchen, second - Benjamin Norris, third - Anchor Massie.
These top winners may now advance to the State Bee, which will be held in Rock Springs on March 15-16. Congratulations to all, and good luck at State!
