Wolves basketball Coach Nick Redden candidly discusses the game against Hulett last weekend, saying, "They put us in some positions we had trouble dealing with and they got us by four but it's still early in the season."
"It's always a pride thing to have the Hulett versus Moorcroft game, you always want to win that one. It didn't turn in our favor, but there are still a lot of ways we're learning right now, especially trying to bring our younger guys in," he continues.
"My top five guys play 31.5 minutes every game so our schedules are based around that and our younger guys are really filling in well, but it was just one of those games where you have a couple shots that go a different way and all of a sudden, we have a different outcome."
Redden highlights some of the positive aspects of the game.
"Chaz Dewey had 17 points and 19 rebounds, which is huge; Kaden Hohnholt had 17 points, also," he says.
"We had a couple big scores, but you're always looking at how the rest of the team feeds into those. They play hard, but, it was one of those nights."
According to the coach, the final score was 52-49 with Hulett coming out on top.
