The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming
As Thanksgiving nears and people consider everything for which they can give thanks, LOGOS cordially invites the Moorcroft area community to join the annual celebration of God’s many blessings. This years event takes place on Wednesday, November 15 with worship at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church.
A traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be served downstairs, at 6:30 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to bring a guest and a side dish or salad to contribute to the table as everyone gives thanks to God for their children and community.
Each year the students, families, and volunteers of LOGOS give thanks to God for his goodness by coming together with worship, a meal and fellowship. They want to share that fellowship with their neighbors and friends!
After supper, the LOGOS youth will help put together Thanksgiving Food Baskets for the Moorcroft Interfaith Community (MIC) Thanksgiving Food Pantry.
This community food subsidy is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Moorcroft Town Center (MTC), 101 S Belle Fourche Avenue.
Pastor Monte Reichenberg encourages people, “If you know of any family, including your own, who could benefit from a Thanksgiving food basket this year, please let them know about the Thanksgiving Food Pantry on November16. No preregistration is required and residents of Crook, Weston and Eastern Campbell Counties are welcome.”
Those who want to donate to the food pantry may also call or email Pastor Monte cell at 217-251-1182 or [email protected], or Randy Blakeman at 307-756-2066.
“We look forward to celebrating a Logos Thanksgiving with you.”
