On October 10, police gave emergency fund assistance to someone in need.
On October 12, police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at Moorcroft High School. No injuries, state report filed.
On October 13, police responded to a life alert alarm for a possible fall. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the resident who advised that they did not need an ambulance. Officer called to cancel EMS. Nothing further.
On October 13, police assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol in finding a REDDI report vehicle. Officer located the vehicle and after observing lane violations, conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Officer spoke with the Driver until WHP Trooper arrived. Officer stayed on scene assist the Trooper and returned to town limits upon conclusion of incident.
On October 15, police received a report of possible child abuse. Officer contacted the child and parent in question and advised them of the report. Parent and child both denied any abuse happening and officer saw no signs of abuse on the child. Officer returned to speak with the complainant. Officer advised the complainant that there were no signs of abuse. Nothing further.
On October 17, police were advised of a theft from Coffee Cup Fuel Stop. Officer contacted the suspect who was cited for theft and given a trespass notice from the business. Nothing further.

On October 18, police assisted Crook County Sheriff’s Office by watching subjects while deputies searched a vehicle. Officer cleared when assistance was no longer needed. Nothing further.
On October 19, police gave a courtesy ride to a homeless gentleman who was attempting to get to South Dakota. Officer transported him to Crook County Sheriff’s Office, who in turn transported him to South Dakota. Nothing further.
On October 20, police were notified of a vehicle vs deer crash at the intersection of Highway 14/16 and Highway 51. Officer arrived on scene and took report of the accident. Nothing further.
On October 25, police assisted a vehicle owner who had locked their keys in their vehicle. Officer was able to gain entry to the vehicle for the owner.
On October 27, police received a report of a backpack on the sidewalk of North Yellowstone. Police were advised that the backpack seemed suspicious and asked if an Officer could look at it. Officer responded to the area and picked up the backpack in question. Officer inventoried the contents of the backpack, and it was filled with items that an athlete would use for wrestling. Items were placed into Lost & Found. Nothing further.
