Miss Lacey will be hosting Halloween Parties on Wednesday October 25 during Storytime (10 a.m.) and Afterschool Program (4 p.m.) Attendees are welcome to wear costumes for these events. Join us for fun and food!
Library staff will be leading an adult craft on October 26. We will be making fall decor that can be used as a table centerpiece for all your fall events. We are using some unexpected crafting techniques for this class. Call or stop by to reserve your spot today.
Library staff will have a scavenger hunt on Halloween, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. for visitors to earn a special treat; we’d love to see everyone in costume!
Friends of the Library met on October 10 to discuss future fundraising needs and ideas. The group has a primary goal to purchase new computer stations for the youth services area and, for the future, they would like to help with updating shelving and outdoor beautification including better signage.
Tese Friends will also be hosting a Holiday Silent Auction to benefit the library. Donations for this event would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the Library by November 13. Items will be set up with bid sheets at the Library November 15-December 15.
