Levi Marvin Finn, age 23 left this earth too soon on September 17, 2023 at his home in Gillette, Wyoming. Levi was born February 19, 2000 in Spearfish, South Dakota, to Eric and Virginia (Erland) Finn.
Levi spent the majority of his childhood in Sundance, Wyoming, where he received most of his schooling.
In 2018, he graduated from the Wyoming Cowboy Challenge Academy in Guernsey, Wyoming, where he received his GED. He received top marks in his class and got his CDL License.
After graduation he worked at Firesteel Well Service in Moorcroft, Wyoming, as a truck driver until 2020. He went to work at Rib n Chop Steakhouse as a cook in Gillette, by 2022 he had been promoted to kitchen manager. In spring of 2023, after the birth of his daughter he went back to work at Firesteel Well Service, where he remained until the time of his death.
Levi leaves behind daughter, Viviana Finn; siblings, Leaf Erland, Lacy Finn, Erica Finn, Trinity Finn, Madison Finn and Rosemary Hlavka; father, Eric Finn; uncles, Robert Finn and David Finn, Jeremy Kiel, and Sidney 'Sid' Erland; aunt, Anita Lawson; nephew, Bently Finn and niece, Caprice Erland; maternal grandparents, Don Erland and Phyllis Southard; paternal grandparents, Marvin Finn and Dottie Styles; and several cousins and extended family.
Levi was part of a very blended family and leaves behind several 'step' family members.
Levi was proceeded in death by his mother Virginia Hlavka (Erland).
Memorial services were held at the Methodist Church in Sundance on Sept 25th 2023. A burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his mother. A time of fellowship was held at the Crook County Courthouse basement afterwards.
