This weekend, Moorcroft had their first home games against Buffalo and Glenrock. On Friday, the Varsity played Buffalo; despite their best efforts, the girls unfortunately fell short with scores: 25-12, 25-12, and 25-7. On Saturday, Varsity played against Glenrock and the girls played hard and came close to a win with scores; 25-23, 25-14, and 25-19.
On Friday, the Freshman team took the Bison to three sets and even though losing in the end, the girls had some good plays. The Bison beat JV in both sets, but the girls didn't go down without a fight.
On Saturday, both the freshman and JV beat the Glenrock Herders. The freshman took the Herders down in two sets with scores 25-10 and 25-16. JV also beat the Herders in two sets with scores, 25-19 and 25-14.
This weekend, make sure to come support our Lady Wolves. On Friday, the Lady Wolves head to Wright and play at 1,2 and 3 p.m. On Saturday, the girls play at home at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. against Newcastle.
