Cemetery gets new trees

Twenty five saplings have been donated to the Pine Haven Cemetery by Linda Lang, so Public Works Director Sean Glasser has begun digging holes for the approximately six- to eight-foot young blue spruce that will stand along the interior fence line, surrounding those resting within.

Besides making a singing windbreak, the trees, as they mature, will create a more insolated intimate space for visitors and residents alike. The town will be installing a sprinkler system to maintain their growth until the roots are well established.
