The Moorcroft High School golf team will finish the fall season on Friday and Saturday at the 2023 Fall State Tournament that will be held at the Newcastle Country Club. We've seen overall growth in all aspects of the game, especially in the short game of chipping and putting, but the team has not played the Newcastle course this season so the first nine holes will be a new opportunity to learn and adjust their game.
State golf is 36 total holes, with 18 holes played each day, which is mentally and physically challenging, but the team is ready to play their best golf of the season.
The Moorcroft team would like to thank Andrew Bears for his expert assistance this season. We also wish to thank The Golf Club at Devils Tower and the Keyhole Golf and Country Club for allowing the team to use their courses for practice.
