Moorcroft Police Department

On August 31, police were requested to do a welfare check on a resident due to family being unable to get ahold of them. Officer went to the residence and spoke with them, all was fine. Officer contacted their family member who called in the welfare check and advised them of this. Nothing further.

On September 3, police responded to a verbal altercation at Deere Haven. Upon arrival, police discovered one of the individuals involved in the altercation had thrown a beer bottle and caused bodily injury to multiple subjects inside. Suspect was arrested for Breach of Peace and Unlawful Contact and transported to Crook County Detention Center without incident.
