The annual Pine Haven Days parade always draws a big crowd.
Everyone is invited to celebrate Pine Haven Days with their neighbors and friends Labor Day weekend, September 2 and 3, hosted by the Pine Haven Recreation Board. The weekend starts with the parade at 11 a.m. (the line up begins at 10 at the Harwood Ball Park); folks are advised to bring chairs!
The parade is immediately followed by a barbeque/pot luck lunch at Waters Park; there will be burgers, hot dogs, chips, lemonade along with some delicious side dishes. Those who are proud of their side or dessert are encouraged to bring it on over!
The fun continues with Jump Mania Jumpy Houses, Axe House and the Escape Room at 2 p.m. at the same place. The Frosty Cow and the Cake Pop Kitchen will be on hand to save anyone needing a treat to rebuild their strength.
To finish off Saturday, there will be a DJ sharing some great music as well as offering karaoke for those brave souls who enjoy sharing lyrics with or without keeping a bucket for the tunes.
Sunday morning meets the sun with a free pancake breakfast served by the Pine Haven Volunteer Fire Department from 9-11 a.m. as a final get together for the event ends for another year.
