Youth patrons were invited to Travel The World @ Your Library for our summer reading program, May 31-July 12, ending the adventure with a family barbeque at Robinson Park. We kicked off the event with Storytime with Miss Lacey while participants turned in their passports so Miss Serena could tally their entries for prizes.
We were able to give away a lot of amazing prizes this year due to donations from local sponsors including: American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, Blakeman Propane, Clearwater X-Spurts, Coffee Cup Fuel Stop, Deere Haven Liquor and Lounge, Dewey's Place, Donna's Diner, Flowtech Fueling, Key In Storage, Keyhole State Park, Moorcroft Equipment Rental, OC's Storage, Paradise Foods, Pinnacle Bank and Moorcroft Friends of the Library.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch including hot dogs donated by Coffee Cup and grilled by Pinnacle Bank staff, buns donated by Diehl's and cookies donated by local Girl Scout Troop 1007. Guests then cooled off with water games, water squirters and slip n' slides.
