The Pine Haven Chamber of Commerce partnered with North Eastern Wyoming Walleye Association (NEWWA) and Lakeview Carwash to host the fourth annual Kids Day at Waters Park last week.
Winners of the competition were as follows.
Hayden Salmon, age two, caught a 16-inch bass; Ava Till, five, a five-and-a-half-inch crappie; and Hunter Salmon, eight, a 22.5-inch carp; Agatha Tobin and Addie Salmon, both nine years old, an 18.5-inch walleye in the Big Enough-9 category.
Rider Buckner, ten, a six-and-a-quarter-inch bluegill; and Glen Bailey, 12, 12.25-drum in the ten-13 age group.
Jackson Phillips, 15, 30.5-inch pike; Reed Banker, 14, an 18.75-inch walleye in the 14-18 category.
After a great time fishing, playing, running and laughing, each of the 29 young participants received a free tackle box and fishing pole as well as a tasty lunch of burgers, hotdogs and chips.
