What's happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

We are gearing up for an amazing summer reading program! Young readers can read books to win prizes as they Travel the World @ Your Library. This summer’s program will feature fun activities introducing games, food, language and animals from destinations around the world. 

Due to donations from area businesses, we will have many opportunities for our young readers to win amazing prizes. Registration begins May 31 and ends June 13. Stop by the library to sign up.

We have several fun activities coming up at the library. The LEGO Guy will be returning June 13 at 1 p.m. to share his knowledge of all things LEGO. 

A teen craft class will be held at 2 p.m., on June 6. Teens will create custom notebook and pencil sets with Alyson Nelson; this class requires reservations.

Adult Yard Dice Craft will be June 15, at 5:45 p.m., this class requires payment by Friday, June 2 as we will not have extra supplies; Adult Card Making Class will be June 28 with Alyson Nelson and requires reservations. 

We have a group of volunteers looking to revive the Moorcroft Friends of The Library Group and they will be hosting a bake sale and membership drive at the library on Saturday, June 3. If you would like to donate baked goods for this, please have them to the library by 5 p.m., Friday, June 2.

Weekly Events: Wednesday, in June, 10 a.m. – Storytime at Robinson Park; Wednesday, at 7 p.m. – AA Meeting. After School Craft will resume in the fall.
