The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming
Our Thanks
The Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers who helped make the 2023 Spring fling Cleanup Day possible. It proves the old adage – “It takes a village”.
The Town of Moorcroft who made the dump available, personnel, Scott, David, Cody, Jodi, dump truck and equipment for the cleanup.
The following donated their time and vehicles: Dan Grace – pickup with a trailer provided by Mike Slattery; Jerry Fischbach, Fischbach Construction – pickup and trailer; Mark Millard – pickup and a trailer provided by Jeff Holberg; Sara King, Flow Tech Fueling – pickup and trailer; Robert Trigg – pickup and trailer; Fred Devish with a trailer provided by Glenn Construction; Heidi Humpal – her maintenance man, Richard, pickup and trailer; Marge Reed, who did all the running for supplies and, with Emma and Layla Elliott, did the interstate on and off ramps on both ends of town; JB King, Kristy Van Horn and Neil Gray for giving their time; Pacific Steel, who supplied us the metal bins.
Special thanks to Pinnacle Bank for the lunch provided by them and served by the staff – it was delicious. To the FFA students who braved the weather, your organization is to be commended for your community service and civic pride.
CDS (formerly Quality Hardware) for providing the space to stage the event, Ted used his skid steer to keep things cleaned up. Also, thank you to the State of Wyoming for providing the garbage bags; True Oil who provided the gloves for the workers who picked up the trash; and Donna’s Diner, who baked the cookies and donated half of them for their part.
All of these people volunteered time and used their personal vehicles to make the cleanup successful. If you see them, please make a point to say Thank You.
MACC gives a shout out to all of the residents who did their part in making the event a success. If some things were missed, it was unintentional.
Again, a big THANK YOU to everyone from the MACC – the town looks great.
