Moorcroft Police Report

February 27 - March 5

On February 27, police were called to the Moorcroft K8 regarding a disturbance. Officer arrived and spoke with all involved about the situation. Nothing further.

On February 27, police were contacted regarding a possible domestic battery. Officer met with the complainant and took statement. Later, police were notified that the issue was a misunderstanding and the complainant no longer wanted her boyfriend arrested for battery as she no longer considered herself a victim. Case closed.

On February 28, police arrested a suspect on an active warrant out of Crook County. Officer placed the suspect into custody and transported them to Crook County Detention Center without incident.

On March 1, police were requested to do a welfare check on an individual. Officer made contact with the subject, and all was well. Nothing further.

On March 4, police were contacted regarding a lost wallet being found. Officer was able to identify the owner of the wallet and returned it to the owner at their home. Nothing further.
