Moorcroft Police Report

January 2 - 8

On January 2, police were called to a two-vehicle collision at Moorcroft High School. Officer arrived on scene and a State of Wyoming traffic crash report was done.

On January 2, police were called to a traffic crash on Country Lane. A pickup slid and hit a stop sign, knocking the sign down and damaging the vehicle. Officer arrived on scene and a State of Wyoming traffic crash report was done.

On January 2, police were called regarding a hit and run at Deere Haven. Officer contacted the victim and took pictures of the damage. Officer will write up report on the incident.

On January 2, police were called to Coffee Cup regarding a female subject threatening to shoot people and shouting. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant. Officer was able to identify the subject by looking at the security camera footage. Based on the activities the officer perceived subject to be a threat to themselves or others so officer placed them into protective custody and transported them to Campbell County Memorial Hospital.

On January 3, police were notified of suspicious person looking into vehicles on Campbell Street. Officer patrolled the neighborhood for a while and was unable to locate anyone walking in the area. Officer advised complainant to call again if the suspicious person came back.

On January 3, police were called to Moorcroft High School in reference to a minor in possession of tobacco product. Student was cited for minor in possession of tobacco. Nothing further.

On January 6, officer assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency call.
