Eston Swaney – You buy a turkey at the store. Take it home and cut it up. Put salt and pepper on it and cook it on the grill for 30 minutes at 10 degrees. You will know when it is done because it will be brown. You eat it with celery. My family will all eat it.
Oliver Wirthanen – You go to the store to get a turkey. Take it home and put spices on it but I’m not sure what they are called. Cook it on the grill for 6 hours. You set the temperature to really hot. You will know when it is done when it looks like a cooked turkey – a tan color. Then eat it with your grandma and grandpa.
Paige Anderson – You get the turkey from an open field. Catch it with a turkey net. Take it home and put salt on it. No spices though because my mom and dad don’t like it. Put it on a really big grill for 6 hours at 7 degrees. You will know it is done when the grill beeps. Cut it up and put it on our big white table. Share it with grandma and invite others to come and eat with you. Eat lots of different foods with it.
Sawyer Swaney – You get the turkey at the farm. Take it home and put salt and pepper on it. Cook it in the microwave for 25 minutes. I don’t know how to tell if it is done so I will go ask my daddy. Then we will eat it with chicken and pizza. I will share it with my family.
Beckett Granger – You get the turkey from the turkey store. Take it home and put some salt on it. Place it in the oven for 20 minutes and set the temperature to hot. When the timer beeps take it out. Wait until it cools off then eat it with friends, Sawyer, Oliver, and Eston.
Kal Sasse – I would get my turkey from the freezer at my home. I would throw it down the hill because it is gross. Then I would go get it and put it in the oven for 2 minutes on medium heat. When the alarm beeps get it out of the oven with cooking gloves. Put it on a plate and eat it.
Khloe Johnson – Get the turkey from a camp. When I get it home I would put no spices on it except salt. I would put it in the oven for 40 minutes at like 60 degrees hot. When the alarm goes off you will know it is done. Eat it with mashed potatoes and share with your family.
Emberley Schrock – Go get a turkey in the barn. Take it in the house and put it in the oven. Cook it for 10 minutes at a really hot temperature. When the timer goes off turn off the oven and get it out. Put it on a stick. Put some salt and sugar on it. Serve it with green beans, meatballs and chicken nuggets. When your stomach’s full go to bed.
Ayrabelle Brickley – Get your turkey from a turkey farm and take it home. When you get it home take off the legs and separate it and put salt on it. Put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 12 degrees hot. Wait until the timer goes off. Put on oven gloves and take it out. Eat it with breadsticks, apple juice, orange juice, grape juice and pepperoni pizza. And eat it with my family.
Zaiden Sparks – Go to the farm to get a turkey and take it home. Put a little bit of pepper and salt on it. Put it on a tray and get a turkey box and grill it. Grill it for 200 minutes on really a hot temperature. You will need to check it and see if it is brown. Open the grill and cut it in half. Then put it on plates and eat it with a fork. Serve macaroni and pizza.
Ezra Homola – Get a wild turkey from a farm and stuff it. Take it home and put pepper on it. Cook it in the oven for 20 minutes on warm. When the timer beeps it is done. Get it out and eat it with mashed potatoes. My mom, dad, 2 brothers and sister will help me eat it.
Emblyn Scott – Go to the farm to get a turkey. Take it home. Put strawberries, sprinkles, and M&Ms on it. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes on low temperature. When the alarm beeps, take it out and put the turkey on the plate. Eat it with carrots, apples and ice cream. My mom, dad and brothers will help eat.
Elias Jordan – I would probably go hunting and shoot a turkey. When I get it home I would put it in the oven for 40 minutes at a temperature of 8. When the oven beeps I will know it is done. I would get it out and leave it on the counter for a while. Then my brother, mom and I would share it along with pizza and brownies.
Lynley Blakeman – I would find a turkey in the barn and take it home to cook it in the oven. I will cook it for 4 minutes on a low temperature. I will set a timer so I will know when it is done. When it is done I will take it out and eat it with celery.
Samantha Kratzer – I will get my turkey from the store. When I get it home I will put it on the counter and add water, salt and pepper. Put it in the oven for 12 hours at 300 degrees. I will know when it is done when it is no longer pink. Take it out of the oven and eat it with cherry pie.

Paisley – First, you have to catch a turkey. Then, you have to take off the feathers, you skin it. Then you put the turkey in the oven. You keep the turkey in there for 10 or 7 or 3 minutes. Then, take it out of the oven. Then, put it on a pan and cut it. Then you set it on the table. Then you eat the turkey!
Slade – I catch a turkey in the woods. I take the feathers off. Then I put it in the oven. Keep it in the oven for an hour. Take the turkey out of the oven and then cut it. You cut it with a knife. You eat it right off the tray that it is on.
Landon – You get the turkey from your house because it lives there. You take the feathers off and cut the meat up. Take the bones out and put it in the oven. Cook the turkey for 10 minutes. Take it out of the oven and put it on a plate. Eat it!
Aurora – Get the turkey from the woods with a rope. Then bring the turkey home. You take the turkey feathers off. Put the turkey on a pan and then put it in the oven. Cook it for 11 minutes. Take the turkey out of the oven and put it on a plate. You put half of it on your own plate. Use your fork and eat it. After you eat it you brush your teeth. Then go to bed.
Andrielle – I get the turkey at the store. I get it from Dollar General. Bring it home and put it in the oven. Put ice with the turkey when it’s in the oven. Keep it in the oven for 10 minutes. Then take it out. Put the turkey on a plate. I would eat the whole turkey.
Loxley – I go in the woods to get my turkey. I shoot it. Then bring it home and take the feathers off. You have to pull the feathers off. Put it in the oven for 1 hour. Take it out of the oven and then make sure you put salt on it. Do 5 shakes of salt. Then cut it up and put it on a plate. Then you need to take the bones out. Eat it! Use your manners and say thank you.
Lilyanne – I go to the farm to get my turkey. That’s actually where you go! You buy it. It costs like $10. Then you bring the turkey home and take the feathers off. You take the feathers off with tweezers. Put the turkey in the oven and throw the feathers in the garbage. Cook it with pepperoni. Then it’s going to be taste-a-licious! Cook it for like 100 hours. Then you take it out and put it on the table. Serve the kids turkey and chicken. Eat it with a fork.
Breckin – You get the turkey from the mountains. You have to rope it. Then bring it home. You take the feathers off. Cut them off with a knife. Cook it in the oven. Then you cook it for 10 minutes. Put it on a plate and then cut it with a knife. You cut it in pieces and then you have to eat it.
Kato – You get your turkey from your home. Throw it in the oven and cook it. You cook it for 10 minutes. Take it out of the oven and eat the whole thing! Clean up the mess.
Dylan – I get my turkey from the store. Get it from the Nebraska store. Get it to my house. You have to get a car and drive. Then just cook it in the oven. Keep it in the oven for 10 hours. Get the turkey out of the oven. Let Daddy and Shannon have turkey. I don’t like turkey. I eat tacos. Then throw bones in the garbage.
Linkin – I get the turkey from the field on the mountain. I have to shoot it. Then bring it home. Peel off all the outside skin and the head. Put some salt and pepper on it. Then put it in the oven for 10 minutes. Take it out of the oven and we go to the table and eat it. We eat corn and bread too. Then you take care of your plates and your cups.
Walker – I get my turkey from the store. I go to Walmart. Go home with the turkey and put it right in the oven. Make sure you put salt on it before you put it in the oven. Cook it for two hours! Then, you put it on the table. You need to take out the bones and then eat it.
Alora – Get the turkey from Walmart. I take it home. Put some seasoning on it and some butter. Then you have to put it in the oven. Keep it in the oven for 20 minutes. Take it out and wait for it to cool off. Then get the bones out by cutting it up and grabbing them. We eat it at the big giant table. Then we clean up.
Cora – My dad goes in the woods and shoots one. Then we bring it back to our home. We take off the skin and then we take out some bones. Then we cook the turkey. My dad probably puts butter on it. We put the timer on for like 5 minutes. Then we cook the turkey in the oven. We take it out and then we set it on a plate. I mean we cut it up actually. Then we eat it! My G is making casserole to eat with it and I think my aunt Liz is making red velvet cookies. After we eat the food, we clean up our dinner and that’s it!
Arlo – I go to the store to get my turkey. I go to Walmart and then bring it home. Then I bake it in the oven. I bake it for 10 minutes then I take it out of the oven. We have to cut it up. Then we eat it. After we eat we put our dirty plates away.

Hunter Bishop – I’m going to cook turkey and brownies and tomatoes and pancakes and pumpkin pie and blueberry pie and apple pie and caramel apple that I buy! I’ll get my turkey at a farm and cut his feathers off. I’ll cook it in the microwave. I forgot how long to cook it. Ms. Susan, Beckett, Max, Lucian, Talon and Emmett.
Camryn Blakeman – For my Thanksgiving feast, I will have turkey and mashed potatoes and strawberries. I’ll go to the woods to find a big sized turkey and shoot the turkey. Then I’ll bring it home and put it in a crock pot. I’ll season it with salt and some butter. It will cook in the crockpot for 30 seconds on a warm temperature. To my house I will invite Hazley, Auryon, Olivia, Navy and...that’s it. We will eat at 9:00.
Lucian Minton – I’m gonna cook it in a stove…a feast turkey! I will get a turkey that died. We did have a few that were really old and died. I’ll cook it 20 minutes and it’s gonna be at 25 degrees. I’m gonna cook a chicken and a mouse too. I’ll invite Craig and Kimber – they’re my cousins and I always want them to come. Then, dessert is ice cream and chocolate.
Maesyn Stout – I would like to have turkey and more turkey! I would like Daxton, Dillon and Dustin to come. I will get my turkey from a turkey place. You have to kill it with a gun. I’ll cook it on a grill…and I’ll put some hot seasoning on it. I’m gonna put it on 1000 hot for 100 minutes to cook! I’ll have mashed potatoes and some lemonade to drink and some soda pop too. Ice cream is for dessert with chocolate too. And…I’m gonna invite Hunter and my mom.
Talon Farnsworth – I will have pumpkin pie and turkey for Thanksgiving. I’ll get it, a medium size, from the store. I will cook it on a fire for 10 minutes on medium. We will not have anything else. Fifteen people are coming and we will drink water.
Cam Lipka – Strawberry cupcakes, pizza pie, whole apples and turkey is what I will have for Thanksgiving. I get the turkey from elk or deer in the forest. I shoot ‘em and cut ‘em up. Then I put it in back of the truck and bring it home. I will put it in back of my house ‘cause we don’t want the blood all over our front yard. I will cook it on a hot stove – well it’s a little bit hot, like kinda cool. I cook it for 10 minutes. I put yellow seasoning on the turkey. When the timer beeps I get it out. I will have three or four friends over. When it’s time to eat is when my mom tells us to.
Navy Massie – I will make a cake with sprinkles and cook it in the oven for 10 minutes on 4 hot. I will make a ham on the stove for 5 minutes on 10 hot. The seasoning is pepper, just a little bit. The ham is from the store and it’s big – like HUGE! The potatoes will cook in the oven for 100 minutes on 100 hot. I will have lemonade and use sugar and water to make it…nothing else.
Killian McKee – I’m cooking turkey. I’ll shoot it in the forest, clean it with water and rip the skin off so I can wash it. I will season it with salt and cook it in a pan on the stove for 50 hours on really hot – REALLY HOT! I’ll make peas with black salt. I will squeeze them to get the beans or peas out. I’ll make roast beef too. I’ll rip it in pieces and put it somewhere hot and put hot sauce on it. I’ll make mashed potatoes with one of those black thingies that go around, ‘cause that’s what my mom does. I’ll get us lemonade and water. I’ll squeeze the lemons into a cup, add the sauce to the lemon, and then mix it. Or…we could just have hot cocoa.
Auryon Mattson – I wanna eat turkey and I’m gonna put it on the grill and cook it on hotty, hot, hot for 5 minutes. I got the turkey from the store. I’m gonna have pepperoni pizza, cake with blue frosting and blue sprinkles too. I’ll invite Mommy and Daddy and Aunties and Uncles and Grandmas and Grandpas.
Kaylia Williamson – I’m gonna have turkey for Thanksgiving. I will get it from the meat store. I’ll cook it in the oven at 5 hot and for 15 minutes. I will have cake – strawberry cake too. I’ll invite Opal and Roan and Ron and Sally at my house.
Ann Marie Swaney – We will have pancakes for Thanksgiving breakfast and have turkey for lunch and supper. Church makes turkey, so I’d get it from there. I’ll bring it home and have company over and eat it. I’d cook it on the grill. I will season it with salt and pepper – that’s it. I think I’ll cook it for 10 minutes at warm and hot temperature mixed up. I have a timer and when it’s done I’ll cut it up and eat it. Um….I’ll also have ham. I don’t want to have sugar ‘cause it’s not healthy. I’d have dessert – brownies and ice cream. If it’s my birthday it would be brownies and ice cream with cake or cupcakes. I think I’ll have salad too, some that have carrots. When I was two I liked salad but now I don’t. My parents can have it. My mom and dad like it. I’d have pulled pork with sauce on top of it. That’s all, I would say. I’d eat when it’s supper time.
Cash Harr – I would have turkey for Thanksgiving. I get it at the store – Smith’s store. It would cost $16. I would cook it at home and season it with pig seasoning. I would cook it on a stove top for 10 minutes. I let it beep to know it’s done. I’d cook it probably at 10 temperature. I would also have marshmallow pie and a turkey salad. I think I’d eat at 4:00 with my friends and my family.
Jace Carlson – I will have a chocolate cake and a chocolate stick. I will also have at Thanksgiving some chips (I like the red Doritos) and strawberries. I will have a turkey and get it from the animals at a friend’s farm. I’d cook it at the farm and then take it back to my house in a cooler for putting hot things in. I’d cook it on a grill at medium temperature for 15 minutes and season it with pepper and salt. We will eat it after it’s done and the timer points to the minute. Killian will come and we will eat almost at midnight – when the sun is going down at sunset.
Eska Townley – I want turkey and strawberry kind of cupcakes for dessert for Thanksgiving – that’s it. I hunt it by a barn, then heat it up in the oven for 15 high temperature for 21 hours. Tony and Leah will come to dinner. We will eat when them come over.
Max Swaney – For Thanksgiving I will have some turkey, ice cream cake, scrambled eggs and chicken. I will get the turkey from a turkey barn. I’d kill it and bring it home and cook it. I will season it with pepper and salt. It’ll cook on the stove top for 3 hours and 3 minutes at the temperature of medium. The oven dings when it’s done. My friends are invited to dinner and we will eat at supper time after school.
Emmett Swaney – I’m having strawberries and turkey from the store. It will be medium size. I’ll cook it with a oven for 5 minutes. It will be 5 hot and I’m going to season it with cinnamon. I’m going to drink water. Max is coming to my house for Thanksgiving. I’ll make apple pie with big apples. I need five apples for it. The pie cooks in the oven at 15 hot for 15 minutes.
