November 7 - 13
On November 7, police were called to assist the Moorcroft Fire Department with traffic control at Coffee Cup Fuel Stop. The high winds had blown the canopy off of the fuel island. No damage or injury was reported.
On November 7, police were called to the Dollar General for a report of someone harassing employees over the phone. Officer arrived and gathered information regarding the complaint. Investigation is continuing.
On November 8, officer served Municipal Court papers to a defendant for the court.
On November 8, police were notified of a dropped 9-1-1 call. Officer was sent to an address of N. Cheyenne but there was not a residence at the address given. Officer checked nearby residences and was unable to locate anyone who had called 9-1-1. Nothing further.
On November 9, police were called to the Moorcroft Elementary regarding an animal acting aggressively toward an employee. Officer arrived at the school and spoke with the principal and the employee who advised the officer of the incident regarding the animal. The animal owner was cited for Vicious Animal and Failure to License and was also given a trespass warning by the Superintendent stating that they were no longer allowed to be on school property with the animal. Nothing further.
