Lady Wolves step into tough competition

The Wolves faced some tough competition over the weekend, but still stepped up and competed. First, we played #1 in our conference, Buffalo, with the scores of Buffalo 3 Moorcroft 1 (22-25, 25-23, 27-25, 25-21).

I was impressed with our defense this game; we had some great hustle plays and worked hard with our blocking and our back row.

Next, we saw the #1 team in the south, Wheatland, with a match just about as close as it gets, Wheatland 3 Moorcroft 2 (23-25, 25-16, 25-13, 23-25, 18-16). We played some of our best volleyball this weekend.

Our team is improving and stepping up to tough competition and this will continue to make us prepared for our post season games coming up. We head to regionals this weekend in Wheatland and are going in as the #3 seed facing #2 Douglas in the first round.

I am excited to see our girls compete and work hard at the tournament.
