Wolves football season begins

The Wolves football team came out against Greybull Sept. 1 in the first away game of the season.

The boys came out extremely emotional and extremely excited and, as with anything, this causes some boys to act without thinking. Once some mistakes were made, which we knew would happen, the boys settled down and began to play one heck of a game. 

It was a very physical game all around. Greybull was much bigger, faster and stronger than us.  However, that never once stopped the Wolves from fighting for each stop and each yard. 

I am extremely pleased with our first showing against a very good team.  The staff and players know we have a lot of work to do together to reach our goals as a team and we are willing and ready to put in the work. 

There is no better place to be than in Wolves country!

The first home game of the season showed a 36-20 loss to Saratoga.
