Council holds final discussion of investment fees

After a series of discussions between the mobile home park owners whose properties are tapped into the town’s water and sewer infrastructure and Moorcroft’s governing body, a compromise has been reached regarding the investment fees required and why.

Unless revisited by a future council, this compromise will be in effect until such time that a future water project incorporates adding meters to the individual trailer sites for all parks within the municipal area, making them all equal.

The Ellis Mobile Home Park will be responsible for each individual meter at full cost. Manke’s and Humpal’s parks will pay a discounted 30-35% for the one meter that covers all lots.

After reiterating their concerns, those involved acquiesced and the situation was concluded, but for the resolution to be approved by council.

According to Glenn, “I thought we would do it at this meeting, but…we’ll set the resolution at the next meeting.”
