This last Friday, the Moorcroft Wolves met the Sundance Bulldogs on the bulldogs’ track and the Wolves did a great job.
The girls team bettered their qualifying time by four seconds in the medley relay and that’s exactly what we want to do going into the last couple weeks. The girls had a great day and against some great competition.
They took home first in the medley, 100m hurdles, 1600m, 3200m; second in the 300m hurdles; and third in the 200m and the 400m.
Everyone is running their best times and we can try to fine tune hand-offs and the little things to be ready to run our fastest time at state.
The boys team was up against some stiff competition and did a great job competing. They brought home third in the medley relay and the 1600m run.
Our athletes are looking forward to getting ready for the last big charge of the season. We’re hoping for some great weather so we can continue to improve.
Two more weeks and the season will be over. We have the regional track meet this week in Newcastle on Friday and Saturday.
