Moorcroft Police Report

On March 14, police assisted in unlocking a vehicle for the owner who locked the keys inside.

On March 14, police were contacted by Moorcroft K8 requesting an officer respond to the school to assist with a custody issue after a domestic that had occurred earlier. Officer responded and it was determined that DFS needed to be involved.

On March 14, police received a REDDI report. Officer located a vehicle matching the description and conducted a traffic stop for improper lane use. Driver was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence and taken to Crook County Detention Center without incident.

On March 16, police were called regarding an alarm at the West Texas Trails Museum. Officer went to the museum, entered the building and did not see anything out of place. Keyholder arrived a few minutes later and reset the alarm. Nothing further.

On March 17, police observed a dog chasing vehicles on West Campbell. Officer contacted the owner and advised them to keep their dog on their property. Officer also advised the owner of the licensing and dog at large ordinances. Nothing further.

On March 16, police were contacted regarding a possible REDDI. Officer located the vehicle and observed the vehicle while in motion. Officer did not observe any violations. Nothing further.

On March 19, officer was contacted regarding vicious dogs. Officer spoke with the complainant and will make contact with the owner regarding the issue.
