Kennedy Sheehan, a senior at Moorcroft High School, will be traveling to Fort Worth, TX at the beginning of March to compete in the Hooey Jr. Patriot Rodeo. Sheehan will be competing in goat tying at the high stakes rodeo with the top goat tyers in the nation.
The Patriot is a week-long cowboy celebration involving team roping, barrel racing, calf roping, steer wrestling, goat tying and pole bending. Sheehan qualified at the Badlands Challenge in Bowman, ND last fall to advance in this rodeo.
She plans to continue her education and rodeo career at CWC Riverton on a rodeo scholarship. Kennedy is the daughter of Joe and Joy Sheehan of Rozet.
