Moorcroft Police Report

On January 25, police were notified of an attempted scam through email. Officer looked over the email and advised the complainant not to contact the sender. No money had been taken as a result of the email. Nothing further.

On January 25, officer served Municipal Court papers.

On January 27, police received a complaint of junk at an address in town. Officer was unable to contact anyone living at the residence and later found out the property was foreclosed on. Officer mailed a Junk Ordinance Violation 30 day Notice to Abate to the bank that now owns the property.

On January 28, police assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency call.

On January 30, police were called regarding a juvenile smoking marijuana. Officers arrived at the home and spoke with the juvenile and their parents. Minor was cited for possession of a controlled substance.
