Keyhole State Park Superintendent Wade Henderson updated on conditions at Keyhole Reservoir, closing out the year.
With varying thickness of four to six inches, Henderson warns guests, "Use extreme caution venturing out on the ice. You can walk on it, but I would keep vehicles off of it – I don't think the ice is quite there yet."
Several pressure ridges and spots of open water can be seen from shore. Henderson cautions those who choose to walk on the ice, to pay attention to these weak points.
"Be very careful," he says.
