The regular monthly meeting of the Moorcroft Senior Center Board of Directors was held on Thursday, December 2, at 10 a.m. These meetings are open to all who would like to attend and are always scheduled for the first Thursday of the month.
It was decided at this month’s meeting to hold the monthly potluck dinner on the second Tuesday of each month to keep from conflicting with the weekly food bank being distributed at the MTC cafeteria.
The group will be playing Bingo the first Friday of every month and soup will be served at 6 p.m., prior to starting the game at 7.
The Book Club meets the third Monday at the Center at 11. We continue to have music and rolls every Wednesday morning at 9.
A Cookie Exchange has been scheduled for Thursday, December 9, at 10 a.m. This will be a “bring a dozen/take a dozen” exchange and the community is invited to participate.
The Constitution Class will continue meeting every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with Dave Holland leading the discussion. Anyone interested is invited to come join the lively conversation.
Folks gather every Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. and Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. for card games including cribbage, pinochle and other games of choice.
The December potluck Anniversary and Birthday dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, December 14, with music by the Kissack family at 5 p.m. and dinner beginning at 6. Come join in the festivities!
