Moorcroft Police Report

November 22 - 28

On November 22, police were called to Dollar General for a report of possible shoplifting. Officer spoke with the manager and viewed the video footage. Officer was able to get a description of the vehicle and license plate number. Manager wanted the individuals in question trespassed from the store. Officer was able to find the vehicle at the high school. Officer will contact the vehicle owner and the others and advise them of the trespass notice.

On November 22, police assisted a vehicle owner at the Coffee Cup who had locked their keys in their car.

On November 23, police assisted a vehicle owner at the Coffee Cup who had locked their keys in their car.

On November 25, police were called to a possible intoxicated driver at the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop. Officer contacted the individual and after speaking with them for a while, determined that they may need medical attention. Officer called for EMS to assess the driver. Officers assisted EMS.

On November 26, police were contacted regarding a possible protection order violation.

On November 26, police arrested a driver for Driving under the Influence and transported to Crook County Detention Center without incident.

Stats: One medical emergency, one DUI, four crosswalk/school zones, 42 business checks, one petty theft, one protection order violation, one assists to other agencies, nine traffic warnings, two vehicle unlocks, four extra patrols, three VIN checks
