Call For Bids
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Moorcroft, Wyoming will receive sealed bids for one (1) new 2022 white Dodge Durango AWD Pursuit Vehicle with a 2012 Dodge Durango as a trade in, trade in vehicle is “as is”.
Specifications and related bid requirements of interested bidders are available at Town Hall at 104 N. Big Horn Ave; P.O. Box 70 Moorcroft, Wyoming 82721 or by calling 307-756-3526 Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Each bid must be received at Moorcroft Town Hall P.O. Box 70, Moorcroft, Wyoming 82721 on or before 5:00 PM local time on the 5th day of November 2021 to be considered. All bids will be opened on the 8th of November 2021, in the Town Council chambers located at 104 N. Big Horn Ave, Moorcroft, Wyoming during the regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting. The successful bidder, if any, shall be announced by the Town at such time as the Governing Body of the Town may determine appropriate, but no later than thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted if it is determined that none of them would serve the public interest. If a contract is awarded, it shall be awarded to the bidder whose equipment and/or materials meet or exceed the minimum specifications of this bid and is in the sole discretion of the Governing Body of the Town the best equipment and/or materials for use by the Town at the lowest bid price. Such factors as options, warranties, maintenance and repair statistics, and product design and function, in addition to bid price, shall be considered by the Town in awarding this bid.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid For Police Vehicle” along with the bidder’s name and address. Each bid must state the date upon which delivery will be made if the bid is accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or by a bank issued cashier check, money order or certified check payable to the Town, and equal to at least 5% of the total bid amount. The bid bond, cashier’s check, money order, or certified check shall be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to him, fails to enter into the contract within thirty (30) days after it is presented to him for that purpose or fails to proceed with the performance of the contract.
In accordance with Wyoming Statutes Sections 16-6-104 through 16-6-107, preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agriculture products, equipment, machinery and provision produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality be equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the State.
The Town reserves the right to waive any informality. The acceptance of any bid does not become final and contractually binding upon the Town until a formal written contract is executed by the Town and the requirements of Wyoming Statute Section 15-1-113 have been met.
